About Your Role
We're looking for a commercially minded, mid-level US-qualified lawyer to join our growing global legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong in-house experience in the technology or SaaS sector—ideally in healthcare SaaS (SaMD)—who thrives in fast-paced, scale-up environments. A background with a top-tier US or international law firm is also highly valued.

In this role, you'll partner closely with our commercial and sales teams to drive strategic deals, support global operations, and shape how we manage risk and enable growth. You'll gain exposure to cutting-edge issues in technology and healthcare while working as part of a collaborative, international team.

What You Do:
Commercial Contracting
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including NDAs, MOUs, enterprise SaaS agreements, distribution and partnership agreements, EULAs, BAAs, customer and sales agreements, and government tender documentation.
  • Support both customer and vendor-side negotiations.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders, especially commercial and sales teams.

Contract Management
  • Lead the development, improvement, and scaling of contract management systems and processes.
  • Create, update, and maintain contract templates that reflect industry standards and business needs.
  • Oversee approval workflows and ensure smooth, timely execution of agreements.

Global Legal Support
  • Provide legal support across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, EU/UK, and Australia.
  • Advise on corporate governance and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with privacy and compliance specialists on HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and other region-specific requirements.
  • Work flexibly across time zones to support a global sales organization

What you bring:
  • US-qualified lawyer with 6–9 years PQE.
  • Licensed in New York and/or California (preferred).
  • Significant in-house experience in technology, SaaS, or healthcare (universities, hospitals, health systems).
  • Prior training at a top-tier or international law firm (highly regarded).
  • Strong track record in technology transactions, SaaS deals, and commercial contracting.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and US regulatory frameworks relevant to healthcare/SaaS (e.g., FDA).

Nice to have skills and characteristics:
  • Experience supporting sales organizations and working in deal-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with global privacy laws and experience negotiating BAAs.
  • Exposure to government procurement and tender processes.
  • Hands-on experience with contract management and automation tools.
  • Prior experience in healthcare SaaS, radiology, or teleradiology businesses.
