Job Duties:The School of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Superior invites applications for the position of non-tenure-track Senior Lecturer of Business Law beginning in August 2026. The school is seeking an individual who will provide excellent undergraduate instruction, incorporate current techniques in teaching, and work collaboratively, including across disciplines, to strengthen the school's business programs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
Department: School of Business and Economics
Full-Time: 100%, Instructional Academic Staff, 9-month ongoing appointment, one vacancy
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in Business Law and other areas from the School of Business and Economics.
- Provide service to the University and community through, but not limited to, participation in departmental and university committees as appropriate.
Other Duties:
- Complete required trainings and professional development as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree earned by August 26, 2026.
- Experience teaching college-level courses, either as instructor of record or as a teaching assistant.

Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business-related discipline.
- Professional experience.
- Willingness and ability to teach in multiple areas of business.
- Evidence of potential teaching effectiveness as a course instructor or teaching assistant and the desire for excellence in teaching.
- Excellent communication skills.
Compensation: Salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
