We're looking for an experienced Senior Immigration Attorney at our Charlotte, NC office. This is an opportunity for an attorney who already knows immigration law and is ready to take meaningful ownership of cases, work directly with clients, ensure quality legal services, and play a key role in delivering exceptional representation.

If you have 5+ years of U.S. immigration law experience, particularly with family-based and humanitarian cases before USCIS, we'd love to meet you.

The Opportunity:
As a Senior Immigration Attorney, you'll take the lead on a diverse caseload involving individuals and families navigating some of the most important and consequential moments of their lives.

You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Develop case strategy and independently manage complex immigration matters.
  • Represent clients in family-based and humanitarian immigration cases before USCIS.
  • Handle matters including adjustment of status, I-130 petitions, waivers, naturalization, VAWA, U visas, T visas, asylum, and other humanitarian-based applications.
  • Prepare and review petitions, applications, legal briefs, RFEs, NOIDs, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare clients for USCIS interviews and help them understand their options and risks.
  • Work directly with clients and provide thoughtful, practical legal guidance.
  • Review work prepared by paralegals and legal assistants to maintain quality standards.
  • Stay current on changes to immigration law, USCIS policies, and procedures.
  • Help us continuously improve our processes, case strategies, and client experience.

Who You Are:
You're an experienced immigration attorney who can walk into a complicated case and quickly identify the issues, risks, and path forward.

You Are:
  • Experienced: 5+ years practicing U.S. immigration law, with substantial USCIS experience.
  • An attorney with an active license to practice law in the United States or Puerto Rico.
  • Strategic: Comfortable handling complex cases and making independent legal judgments.
  • Client-focused: You understand that immigration cases are about people's families, futures, and lives — not simply paperwork.
  • An excellent communicator: You can explain complicated legal concepts clearly and confidently.
  • A leader: You enjoy mentoring others and raising the quality of the entire team.
  • Detail-oriented: You know that the smallest detail can have a major impact on an immigration case.
  • Collaborative: You enjoy working with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff toward a common goal.
  • Spanish-language proficiency is strongly preferred, but is not required.
