- Billable Baseline: 1,400 minimum annual billable hours (vs. 1,800 to 1,900+ traditional law firm standards)
- Location & Presence: Remote flexibility with office visits in Foster City, CA as needed; cases are centered primarily in the Bay Area with court travel outside the Bay Area when needed
- Base Compensation: $260,000 to $280,000 + Performance Bonuses (quarterly up to $20k per quarter + potential for annual bonus)
- Drive Strategic Matters: Formulate and execute tailored legal strategies for complex dissolutions, custody disputes, support matters, adoptions, and multi-layered property divisions.
- Direct Advocacy & Courtroom Presence: Conduct targeted research, draft persuasive pleadings, handle depositions, manage discovery, and represent clients in court with authority and poise.
- Counsel HNW & UHNW Clients: Serve as a calm, trusted advisor for high-profile individuals, breaking down complex legal and financial structures into clear advice while delivering personalized support.
- Deconstruct Complex Assets: Analyze founder equity allocations, venture capital holdings, executive RSUs, stock options, and closely held business valuations.
- Bay Area Practice with Regional Presence: Lead evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials centered primarily in the Bay Area, with court travel outside the Bay Area as client needs arise.
- Practicing at the Top Level: Handle intellectually stimulating, high-stakes matters for Silicon Valley's most interesting and visionary leaders. You will do the most meaningful, complex work of your career on cases that shape legal precedents.

What you bring:
- Licensure: Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
- Experience: 7+ years of substantive family law litigation experience, including demonstrated experience leading evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials..
- Capabilities & High EQ: Strong litigation chops, deep comfort with complex financial structures and HNW/UHNW dynamics, emotional resilience under pressure, and a warm, empathetic approach to client care.
- Location & Travel: Remote flexibility paired with office visits in Foster City, CA as needed, and willingness for court travel outside the Bay Area when required.
- Bonus: Strong expertise in using Clio for case management and legal workflows.
