Key Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and direction through senior managers and is accountable for the performance and results of multiple compliance areas within Trade
- Manages legal resources and significant compliance segments of global trade program and adjusts program to optimize compliance and business outcomes.
- Utilizes expertise and experience to innovate, creating novel approaches to address trade compliance challenges
- Closely aligns with executive leaders to align compliance program to business strategy and vice-versa
- Other projects as assigned by Trade VP
- Expert-level understanding of Export Administration Regulations
- Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different compliance concepts and controls and company systems such as SAP.

- Leads a significant team within Global Trade; develops and executes department or sub-functional strategy to achieve key business objectives

Required Experience and Skills:
- JD from a nationally-recognized law school
- The ideal candidate would have at least 10 years of total experience with a practice focused on trade compliance in a large, international law firm, the US Government and/or with a large technology company.
- Maturity, tact, pragmatic business judgment, and sound decision-making
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
