  • Work with Privacy, Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, Sales, Regulatory, Compliance, and other partners to evaluate and structure commercial arrangements and support significant business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, intake processes, practical guidance, and training to improve contracting speed, consistency, and risk management.
  • Manage multiple matters and competing priorities while providing timely, responsive support and escalating significant risks appropriately.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school required.
  • Active license to practice law and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare legal experience, including significant time supporting DMEPOS, healthcare distribution, medical products, logistics, home-based care, pharmacy, technology, or another highly regulated business preferred.
  • Meaningful experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Experience advising on both customer-facing and vendor-facing commercial arrangements preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare fraud and abuse, privacy, billing and reimbursement, licensure, or other laws applicable to healthcare operations.
  • Practical, business-focused legal judgment, with the ability to quickly understand new business models and complex operational arrangements, identify the most relevant legal issues, think holistically about business impact, provide clear and actionable advice, and escalate significant risks appropriately.
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and client-service skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and support multiple business priorities in a responsive and practical manner.
  • Technology-forward mindset, with the ability to use available tools (including Harvey and Copilot), knowledge management resources, and better ways of working to increase efficiency, support consistency, and deliver practical legal support.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and oral communication skills.
