Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business units to advance company goals while effectively managing and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
  • Provide timely, practical, and solution-oriented legal counsel on a wide range of matters, including contracts, corporate governance, compliance, employment, marketing, and intellectual property.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements to support the company's operations and growth initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and training to promote compliance and reduce risk exposure.
  • Collaborate with outside counsel as needed to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal services.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to A Family-Owned Travel Company mission and values.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law.
  • 12+ years of experience as in-house counsel and/or with a reputable law firm, preferably with exposure to the travel, hospitality, or consumer services sectors.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership to align legal strategy with business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to weigh legal risk against operational goals.
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Ability to work with financial and operational data to inform decision-making.
  • High energy, agility, and a proactive mindset toward driving results.
