This role is ideal for a legal professional with a strong background in the insurance industry, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a pragmatic approach to complex legal challenges. What you will do:
  • Draft, revise, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including Human Resources, Automotive Services, Insurance, and general vendor agreements, among others, while providing advice and support to business line leaders.
  • Provide timely, sound, practical legal advice to senior business leaders and handle various disputes arising from business operations, including insurance and employment related matters.
  • Independently handle legal matters and projects ranging from basic to complex; recognizing when to elevate certain matters to the attention of the Chief Legal Officer.
  • Collaborate with other internal partners and business lines, including Automotive Services, Member Relations, Insurance, Human Resources, and others.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Qualifications:
Education:
  • Law School Graduate (Juris Doctor/J.D.) from accredited US Law School required
  • Strong academic credentials preferred

Experience:
  • 10+ years Related Legal Experience required and
  • 4+ years Legal Experience supporting Insurance Industry preferred
  • 3+ years Corporate / In-house Experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Active State Bar License and member in good standing within Club's territory Upon Hire Required
