Description:
We are seeking a Senior Corporate Attorney to join our Corporate Law group.The ideal candidate will have substantive experience in corporate law and a demonstrated interest in providing advice and counsel to clients with a broad spectrum of corporate law issues with significant experience in M&A, securities, corporate governance, investments, joint ventures, and other general corporate matters. Additionally, the candidate should have a partial book of portable business.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- 10+ years of experience in corporate law at a law firm or in-house legal department
- Proven track record of managing client matters independently and delivering high-quality legal work
- Deep understanding of corporate law, M&A, securities, and business transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- A commitment to integrity, teamwork, and professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Assist clients with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate agreements and documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs and objectives
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and provide tailored legal solutions
- Stay updated on changes in corporate law and industry trends to effectively advise client
