As TRM's Commercial Counsel, you'll be the driving force behind the systems, agreements, and operations that power our global Go-To-Market (GTM) team. You'll partner across TRM to structure and negotiate key commercial and vendor contracts — from customer agreements and SOWs to SaaS and data partnerships — ensuring speed, clarity, and compliance as we scale. You'll also lead initiatives that enhance our Legal team's use of AI tools, streamline review workflows, and reduce friction across the business.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for a pragmatic, solution-oriented attorney who thrives in fast-moving environments and brings executive presence to every negotiation.

The impact you will have here:
  • Supporting TRM's global Go To Market (“GTM”) team with various commercial agreements (including but not limited to MNDAs, amendments, customer agreements, and statements of work).
  • Taking primary responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor agreements, as well as for optimizing our vendor procurement process.
  • Owning significant legal operations projects like enhancing our Legal team's in-house use of AI tools, streamlining internal review processes, and improving efficiencies to cut down on administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced, dynamic sales function, in addition to cross-functional team collaborations.
  • Experience negotiating technical vendor and SaaS agreements. Prior exposure to public sector procurement processes is a plus.
  • Extraordinary communicator who is a service-oriented self-starter, is willing to learn, and is humble. Sense of humor preferred.
  • Must be solution-oriented and client-friendly when operating with limited information in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will meet tight deadlines and properly manage client expectations while maintaining high-quality work product.
  • Must have executive presence to successfully negotiate with outside vendors, outside counsel, internal and external clients, etc.
  • 5+ years at a top law firm or high-growth technology company.
  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, with current bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
