Our extensive client following has been built almost entirely on returning clients, generational representation and referrals from existing clients, attorneys and business affiliates.We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with an ACTIVE and EXISTING BOOK OF BUSINESS in one or more of the following practice areas:
- Trusts and Estates
- Probate and Administrative Proceedings (including contested)
- Commercial/Business Transactions
- Real Estate – Residential/Commercial
- Matrimonial and Family Law
- General Litigation
Requirements:
- Admitted to the practice of law in NYS for at least 5 years and in good standing
- Strong communication and client relations skills
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Dedication to integrity, professionalism, ethics and legal excellence
- Detail oriented, organized and able to work both independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think critically, providing complex and often creative solutions to issues presented
- Strong analytical, writing and research skills
- Possess excellent computer and technology skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
In this FULL-TIME, IN PERSON role as a SENIOR ATTORNEY/PARTNER you will have the opportunity to work in a pleasant office environment, maintaining and growing your existing book of business, while providing exceptional legal services in a variety of legal matters. As a member of our dynamic firm you will:
- Provide comprehensive legal representation
- Manage cases independently and as part of a team
- Create strategies and resolve disputes with sensitivity, diligence, integrity and the highest level of ethics and professionalism
- Draft legal documents, negotiate and maintain caseload from consultation through completion
- Draft pleadings, attend court appearances and other responsibilities for cases in litigation
Compensation and Benefits:
- $140,000-$200,000 per year (commensurate with book of business)
- Bonus potential based on generation of revenue
- Two weeks nonconsecutive vacation, Three weeks nonconsecutive vacation after 2 years
- Paid holiday time off
- Reimbursement for CLEs, licensure and bar association dues
