About the Firm:
Waypoint Immigration USA is a business immigration firm focused on providing comprehensive legal services to individual employees and their families in the United States. We do not represent companies, only individuals. For decades, the business immigration sector has been dominated by corporate firms that control individuals' immigration processes. Employees often do not have access to personal legal counsel in these employer-driven arrangements. We believe that every immigrant deserves to have their own representation to ensure their interests are advanced. There is no substitute for having an attorney advocating solely for the individual in the complex world of immigration law. As a rapidly growing firm ready to expand into this underserved market, we seek experienced and knowledgeable employees who love our mission, are ready to jump into employee-side representation fully, and want to help individual immigrants achieve their dreams. We expect growth opportunities to be abundant in the upcoming years. Come join our team at this exciting time!
The normal job duties you will perform:
We are seeking someone with deep experience in the business immigration realm (or employment or tax law) who understands how the complex pieces of the U.S. legal system impacts immigrants' daily lives and important decisions. The attorney will be directly advising clients on video calls, while participating in marketing, building their own reputation, collaborating with other partners, and scaling and building a team (if desired).
The attorney will provide initial assessments and intake for new clients.
Marketing and business development activities on social media and in person will be required and fully supported by the firm.
This is an individual contributor role for someone who wants to spend the majority of time talking to clients while giving them actionable advice. It is not a management role at this time, though you will have some paralegal support as needed. The role has potential to grow into a Partner or supervising attorney role depending on how quickly your book of business grows.
