Boutique law firm located in a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul currently seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Associate, partner level lawyer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in homeowner associations, insurance coverage litigation, and construction law.As a Sr. Associate/ partner level lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-level legal counsel and representation to clients across a range of industries. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and goals, and then develop and execute strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing legal counsel and representation to clients in homeowner association matters, including drafting and interpreting governing documents, bylaws, and declarations, advising on board governance and operations, and resolving disputes.
- Handling insurance coverage litigation matters, including representing policyholders in disputes with insurers and advising clients on insurance policy interpretation and coverage issues.
- Representing clients in construction law matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, construction defect litigation, and dispute resolution.
- Working collaboratively with a legal team
- Ability and desire to work remotely and in office
- A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar and in good standing with the Bar Association
- At least 10 years of experience practicing law in the areas of homeowner associations, insurance coverage litigation, and construction law
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
