A global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a counseling focused attorney with minimum of 5-6 years experience in the Labor & Employment Practice of our Los Angeles or Orange County office. The candidate will primarily provide advice and counseling and policy drafting services to firm clients. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a particular interest in compliance and counseling with strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career. Significant counseling and meaningful litigation experience is important, and wage and hour substantive background is necessary. Practice includes providing advice and counsel to California, national, and international employers regarding wage and hour law compliance, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, employment agreements, arbitration agreements, and other labor and employment issues. The ability to assess and draft employer handbooks and policies as well as work hand-in-hand with employers to identify and strategize regarding employment law compliance is a must.

The candidate must have strong academic credentials and be a member of the California State Bar.
