Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of labor and employment litigation experience and must be admitted to the Virginia State Bar. This is a largely remote position, though occasional in-person meetings, hearings, or court appearances in Virginia may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employees in all aspects of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and related claims.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials.
- Provide thoughtful and strategic legal advice to clients.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Virginia State Bar (required).
- 5+ years of experience practicing labor and employment law, with significant litigation experience on the plaintiff/employee side strongly preferred.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
