Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage caseload independently,
- Willingness to work with a team to develop strategies and litigation plans
- Experience in all aspects of motion practice, discovery and client communications,
- Willingness to mentor younger associates.
- Conduct detailed legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Review legal documents such as insurance plans, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing litigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active CA bar license in good standing,
- 5-7 years experience as an attorney in civil litigation, plaintiff-side preferred,
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw; strong research skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents with excellent writing skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully advocating for clients' interests.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
