Position Overview:The Senior Associate will play a key role in managing a litigation portfolio while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and a leader within the Firm. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound legal judgment, and independently manages complex litigation matters through all phases of a case, from inception through resolution.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical, writing, and advocacy skills, along with the ability to effectively prioritize competing deadlines. The ideal candidate can effectively adopt, implement, and execute established legal strategies; exercise sound judgment; evaluate and implement alternative legal strategies when appropriate; and collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes.
While experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, creditors' rights, or real property litigation is preferred, accomplished civil litigators seeking to expand their practice into these areas are encouraged to apply.
This position is primarily in-office. Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available based on location, experience, performance, and business needs.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $150,000–$200,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunities. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, demonstrated litigation expertise, and performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a portfolio of contested and uncontested litigation matters through all phases of each case.
- Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, discovery, appellate briefs, and other litigation filings.
- Adopt, implement, and execute established legal strategies while exercising sound judgment to advance client objectives and, when appropriate, recommend and implement alternative legal strategies based on the facts, applicable law, and evolving case developments.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, and other proceedings throughout Florida, both in person and remotely.
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide practical, well-reasoned legal advice and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic legal counsel, timely case updates, and responsive communication throughout the litigation process.
- Proactively communicate with clients regarding case strategy, litigation developments, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, court rules, client guidelines, and ethical obligations.
- Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and strategic insight.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and client service.
- Excellent litigation, legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and sound legal judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a substantial litigation caseload while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Ability to effectively adopt, implement, and execute established legal strategies while exercising sound judgment and advancing client objectives.

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
Education & Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active membership in The Florida Bar in good standing.
- Five (5) or more years of civil litigation experience preferred.
- Experience handling civil litigation matters in Florida state courts.
- Experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, creditors' rights, or real property litigation is preferred but not required.
