Description:

Touchstone Bernays has a great opportunity for an associate attorney with two to five years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense. We are looking for a sharp attorney to fill a position that primarily involves legal research and writing. Preference will be given to candidates with judicial clerkships in appellate or federal court.

Responsibilities include:

Complex research and analysis
Preparation of appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda
Practice involves state and federal cases

Requirements:

Excellent writing skills.
Interest and willingness to focus on research of complicated legal issues
All applications must be accompanied by a resume and writing sample (10 pages maximum). Preferred writing sample is motion or motion response that had been filed with Court.
Please include on resume all writing experience or accomplishments.
Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
