A National Law Firm's Renewable Energy Team is seeking to add a mid-level or senior associate preferably in our Charlotte, NC office. Job Requirements:
- Preference is for this position to be in our Charlotte, NC office, however, we would be open to candidates in our other offices as well.
- Ideal candidates have 5+ years of legal practice, preferably with significant transactional experience, that are looking to join a practice focused on development and construction of renewable energy projects typically representing independent power producers or engineering, procurement, and construction contractors.
- Renewable energy experience preferred, but not required if there is a strong interest to learn this industry.
- Additional preference for backgrounds and expertise in the Engineering, Construction, Finance, Tax areas of law to be beneficial for connecting with clients.
- Solid internal and external communication skills needed, as this position will require regular client interaction with both in-house counsel and commercial representatives.
- Excellent analytical, legal writing and grammar skills are essential.
- Superior academic credentials from an accredited, top tier law school.
