Description:

Extremely fast paced Landlord/Tenant Law and Civil Litigation Firm on Upper East Side seeking an admitted attorney. Must be enthusiastic/high energy individual with professional communication skills and strong desire to be in court most days. Candidate will be required to:
  • Answer calendar calls, settle cases, argue motions and orders to show cause with the goal of handling trials and inquests;
  • Draft pleadings, motions, opposition papers, memorandums of law and appeals;
  • Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation/discovery with goal of handling trials;
  • Heavy document preparation, research and preparation of legal documents;
  • Handle all phases of Landlord/Tenant and Civil/Supreme matters;
  • Take and defend depositions;
  • The ideal candidate will be a self starter able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and have Microsoft Word and Outlook experience.
  • No experience in necessary but ability to learn and positive attitude a must.

Salary - $90,000/year plus medical insurance
