In this pivotal role, We are seeking a Real Estate, Estate Planning & Asset Protection Attorney to help clients preserve, protect, transfer, and maximize wealth through sophisticated real estate, inheritance, estate planning, and asset protection strategies.
This is a unique opportunity for an attorney who wants to move beyond traditional real estate transactions and basic estate planning and develop expertise as a trusted advisor to higher-net-worth families, business owners, farmers, commercial property owners, retirees, and real estate investors.
The attorney will work closely with clients on matters involving:
- Real estate inheritance and wealth transfer planning
- Bond in Lieu of Probate transactions
- Inherited property sales and transfers
- Trust and estate-related real estate matters
- Revocable and irrevocable trust planning
- Sophisticated inheritance protection strategies
- Protective inheritance trusts for children and beneficiaries
- Retirement trust planning and beneficiary planning
- Retirement planning involving IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401(k)s, pensions, and other retirement assets
- LLC and Series LLC planning
- Asset protection strategies
- Wealth preservation planning
- Commercial, agricultural, and investment property planning
- Real estate investor planning

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored estate planning strategies that optimize wealth preservation and asset protection for real estate holdings.
- Provide expert legal guidance on environmental law issues impacting property assets, including land use and sustainability regulations.
- Negotiate complex real estate transactions, including sales, acquisitions, leases, and joint ventures, ensuring favorable terms for clients.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and case law affecting real estate and wealth preservation.
- Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, deeds, titles, contracts, and other related instruments with precision and clarity.
- Advise clients on a broad spectrum of legal areas including family law implications of estate planning, securities law considerations for property investments, tribal law & regulations affecting land ownership, and litigation strategies when disputes arise.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive legal support across all facets of real estate wealth preservation.
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of estate planning principles with a focus on real estate asset protection.
- Strong understanding of environmental law as it pertains to land use and property development.
- Proven negotiation skills to facilitate successful transactions and dispute resolutions.
- Familiarity with immigration law as it relates to international property ownership or investor visas.
- Expertise in landlord-tenant law, family law implications in estate planning, securities law compliance for property investments, workers' compensation law considerations, personal injury law issues involving real estate sites, tribal law & regulations affecting land rights, litigation procedures, and patent law where applicable.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent case law and statutory information.
- Exceptional legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear, comprehensive documents.
- Experience in a law office environment with strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
