Position Overview:We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our dynamic and collaborative Real Estate Practice Group, focusing on general commercial real estate matters. This position is open to candidates in our Atlanta, Cincinnati, Columbus, or Dayton offices. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of commercial real estate experience, with a focus on: commercial real estate development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and senior attorneys, supporting a broad range of real estate transactions and client needs.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the relevant state, or eligibility for admission.
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, preferably at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience with a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
