About the role:We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of real estate transactions — from due diligence through closing — for a mix of commercial and/or residential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents
- Conduct title and survey review; resolve title issues
- Manage due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions
- Coordinate and lead closings for purchases, sales, and refinances
- Advise clients on entity formation, joint ventures, and 1031 exchanges as needed
- Liaise with lenders, title companies, brokers, and opposing counsel
- Supervise paralegals/associates as needed
Qualifications:
- J.D. and active license to practice law in New York
- Strong knowledge of purchase/sale, leasing, and financing documentation
- Experience with title/survey review and closing coordination
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines independently
