We have an immediate opening in our Austin, Dallas, or Houston office for a Real Estate Land Use Associate with a minimum of five years of experience preferred. We will also consider candidates for our virtual office, The Link. Candidates must reside in Texas, and an active Texas bar license is required. The candidate should have experience with complex land use issues, including zoning and planning, land-use entitlements, variances, platting and subdivision, city development contracts, and land development codes. The ability to attend in person zoning and planning meetings is required.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. We look for proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial individuals with varied backgrounds, interests, and experience for a diverse candidate pool.
