A National Business Law Firm is seeking a 7+ year attorney for a position with our Real Estate Development and Investments practice group in Dallas working closely with Mike Alessio and Jess Straley. This position is a growth position with a clear path toward advancement in the firm. This practice focuses primarily on a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, primarily representing institutional equity investors and developers in multifamily, industrial, office, hotel/resort, mixed-use, and portfolio transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:- Real Estate Experience: Experience with the acquisition, disposition, and development of residential and/or commercial real estate. Candidates should also have Borrower Loan expertise. Joint Venture experience is a plus but not required.
- Real Estate Finance: Representing institutional borrowers in construction and stabilized real estate financings, including debt fund, structured finance and CMBS-style financings of multifamily, industrial, cold storage and other commercial real estate product types (including those with mezzanine finance components and other capital stack components involved). Lead-drafting and lead-negotiation roles for the previously listed types of loans would be important.

- Institutional Background: Candidates should have a background working either with institutional-type clients or at larger institutional-type law firms.
