Thompson Coburn is seeking an attorney with 8+ years of commercial real estate experience, with an emphasis on real estate finance transactions, for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have significant experience representing lenders, real estate owners, developers, investors, and funds in complex commercial real estate matters, including mortgage, mezzanine, and construction financings. Candidates should possess strong experience in commercial real estate transactions, commercial real estate workouts, condominium law, and commercial leasing, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Lender-side experience is particularly valued. Candidates should also possess strong drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, be capable of managing sophisticated transactions independently, and be admitted to the New York Bar. A portable practice is not required, though candidates with client relationships or business development opportunities are encouraged to apply. This position is open to recruiters.The salary range for this position in our New York office is $300,000 - $400,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training, and other job-related factors. The range listed is just one part of Thompson Coburn's total compensation and benefits package for counsel, which includes bonuses; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
