A Full-Service Law Firm, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its premier Real Estate Investment and Finance practice in the Chicago office.The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm. This role requires that candidates be well versed in equity side real estate deals, including assisting clients in buying and selling properties, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, as well as net and ground leasing agreements. Experience with join ventures is a plus. All candidates must have solid academic credentials, strong writing skills, good interpersonal skills and a client-team focused approach. Candidates should be admitted to the Illinois bar or immediately eligible to waive into the Illinois bar.
