Williams Mullen is seeking a Real Estate attorney with at least 7+ years' experience to join our Richmond, VA office as a Senior Associate or Partner (no book required). This attorney will work with the acquisition and finance of (real estate) investment portfolios consisting of senior health care properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated associate with an entrepreneurial spirit seeking a positive career trajectory, direct client interaction, significant responsibility on complex matters, and a chance to work closely with industry-leading partners on a fast-paced team.- Knowledge of M&A due diligence, real estate transactions, entity formation and private financial structures, etc. As well as reviewing real estate title and survey documents and drafting transaction documents.
- Competency drafting and negotiating leases and other real estate transaction documents is required.
- A Successful candidate will be meticulous with details and be able to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters involving direct client interaction.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Successful candidates will also possess a drive for excellence and willingness to take initiative to solve problems.
- Candidates must be currently licensed in Virginia, immediate waive into Virginia, or be a member of the bar in one or more US Jurisdictions and willing to sit for the Virginia bar.
