Description:
Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Florida attorney to handle foreclosure and real estate-related litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have strong courtroom experience and the ability to independently manage a busy caseload from initial referral through final resolution.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle residential and commercial foreclosure matters on behalf of lenders and loan servicers
- Attend hearings, mediations, case management conferences, and other court appearances throughout Florida
- Prepare and review motions, pleadings, affidavits, settlement agreements, and related legal documents
- Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations regarding case strategy and risk assessment
- Monitor case progression to ensure compliance with court rules, statutory requirements, and client guidelines
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Negotiate settlements and alternative resolutions when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Preferred 1 to 3 years of experience in foreclosure, real estate litigation, or creditor rights preferred
- Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload while maintaining attention to detail
