Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP is seeking a junior associate (class of 2023 – 2025) to join its top-tier Real Estate Practice Group in the firm's Washington, DC office.With more than 45 real estate lawyers across the firm's U.S. offices, the Real Estate Practice Group handles a dynamic mix of sophisticated transactions, including development, equity and debt financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and complex leasing matters. The team is known for working on high-profile, market-shaping deals.
The Washington, DC Real Estate Practice Group—ranked in the highest tier by Chambers—focuses on representing leading developers, owners, users, and institutional clients throughout the Washington metropolitan region. Matters regularly involve large-scale commercial, residential, hotel, and mixed-use projects that define the region's skyline.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience with real estate development, financing, and/or leasing transactions, along with outstanding academic credentials and strong references. Further, candidates must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice in Washington, DC.
The compensation range for this position is $225,000 - $260,000, commensurate with experience.
