Position Summary Greenberg Traurig's Fort Lauderdale office is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing Real Estate Practice. The ideal candidate will have broad commercial real estate experience and be able to take on significant responsibility working with a dynamic team on a variety of transactions. Candidates must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission to the Florida Bar. The Real Estate practice group is dedicated to fostering professional development and is open to considering candidates outside of Florida.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Draft and negotiate documents relating to acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and overall development work
  • Conduct and manage due diligence, including title and survey review
  • Assist in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members efficiently and professionally
  • Support partners and senior attorneys on complex matters while managing day-to-day responsibilities independently

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience, preferably at a regional or national law firm
  • Must be admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent academic credentials and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a high and positive energy level, keen attention to detail, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment
