General Purpose:
Butzel has been in existence for over 170 years and has helped shape the legal and business landscape of Michigan's largest cities. Major Responsibilites:

Provide transactional support for commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and commercial leasing.
Conduct due diligence and analyze various aspects of real estate transactions.
Draft and review a range of legal documents, including operating agreements, purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and amendments.
Perform title and survey review and manage closing checklists.
Assist with negotiating and amending commercial leases.
Support and, where appropriate, lead discrete components of real estate transactions.
Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and team members to ensure efficient and seamless client service.
Monitor and develop an understanding of real estate market trends and industry developments.

Demonstrated experience supporting complex commercial real estate transactions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to clearly assess and summarize complex issues and proposed solutions.

Proficiency in legal research tools and other relevant resources.
