Description:Position Summary:
Armbrust & Brown PLLC is seeking a 3-5 year attorney for a position with our Real Estate practice group in Austin. This role offers strong growth potential with a defined path for advancement within the firm. The primary purpose of this position is to represent client's with drafting and reviewing legal documents, assessing legal needs, reviewing company policies and procedures, and representing clients in real estate matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide legal counsel on a variety of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements and contracts
- Conduct title review and due diligence on real estate transactions
- Advise clients on legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to real estate transactions
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure a seamless delivery of legal services
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and real estate transactions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering legal advice that meets their business objectives
- Work outside normal business hours as required
- Understand and comply with all Firm policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Texas. 3-5 years of experience representing clients.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Expert Microsoft Office skills. Advanced knowledge of modern Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems. Expert level knowledge and experience with legal software applications used for centralized document management, document comparison, email attachment metadata removal, PDF editing, and complex Office document formatting.
Ability to learn the use of various Internet resources commonly used by law firm attorneys and staff.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Licensed to practice law in Texas.
