Description:

A Litigation, Municipal & Public Agency Law Firm invites candidates with 3+ years of public law experience to apply for a position representing public agencies in our San Francisco office. RWG's attorneys regularly advise cities, counties, special districts, and joint powers authorities across California with all aspects of public law including cutting edge topics such as land use and CEQA, housing, police and fire, environmental law, elections, contract drafting, and governmental transparency. Past experience handling land use and CEQA matters is highly desirable, but not a requirement. A successful RWG attorney will, with appropriate mentoring and training, advise City Councils, Planning Commissions, or other governing boards at public meetings and deal constructively with the public, so presence, an accessible communications style, and self-confidence are essential. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, current California Bar membership, superior research and writing skills and a commitment to collaboration on worthwhile work for the benefit of the public. A sense of humor and commitment to team work is highly valued.
