Our firm has earned an international reputation by litigating complex, high-stakes cases, many of which have resulted in landmark decisions on previously novel issues involving antitrust, securities, consumer rights, civil rights, employee benefits, human rights, and other far-reaching matters.Cohen Milstein's is currently accepting applications for a Law Fellow to join its Public Client Practice Group either now or in the fall of 2026. The Public Client Practice group represents its state Attorney General clients on high-stakes and large-scale matters as they pursue their mission to protect consumers, patients, workers, and public funds from false claims and deceptive practices. We have assisted public clients in litigating landmark consumer fraud cases against many of the largest financial services, healthcare, and other companies in the United States. The Fellowship is one year in duration for a recent law-school graduate with a start date in September 2025.
Location:
The Public Client Law Fellow will be based in our Washington, D.C. office.
Qualifications:
We seek recent law graduates and judicial clerks who share our commitment to performing the highest quality legal work to advance the public good.
Applicants should have strong academic credentials, superior analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated experience working collaboratively. Applicants must be able to commit to one year of service to be considered. Applicants must be (1) admitted to the bar of a state, territory, or district of the United States; (2) awaiting exam results or admission after taking a bar exam; or (3) preparing to sit for the next available bar exam.
Compensation and Benefits:
The Public Client Law Fellow will receive a salary of $100,000 annually and will be eligible to participate in the Firm's full benefits package.
