Position Summary:
The University at Buffalo School of Law invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Professor, with research expertise and teaching interests in any legal field. Research interests in corporations, business associations, financial regulation, criminal law and procedure, comparative criminal law, criminal law theory, and psychology and law are particularly welcome. The Law School encourages applications from candidates prepared to contribute, through research, teaching, and service, to a diverse and inclusive community of inquiry. Responsibilities duties will include:
  • Conduct exemplary research, commensurate with Research 1 tenured faculty appointments, leading to the development of innovative ideas and publications in prominent scholarly outlets.
  • Develop teaching materials and curriculum for law-related subjects and teach three courses per year.
  • Fulfill service responsibilities related to program, departmental, and university affiliations.

  • Excellent academic background, including J.D. or higher law degree.
