About This Role:
EnergyLink Sourcing, LLC (Energy Link), A Construction Engineering Company, is looking for an experienced attorney who, in consultation with management, provides guidance, direction, and assistance on a wide variety of legal matters. The position will be physically located in our Houston, Texas office (part of the A Construction Engineering Company complex).

This position is for an experienced attorney who, in consultation with management, provides guidance, direction, and assistance on a wide variety of legal matters. The role will provide legal oversight of EnergyLink's Procurement efforts and provide support to A Construction Engineering Company's enterprise-wide supply-chain initiatives. Job title and compensation will be dependent upon the level of relevant experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, master supply agreements, services agreements, and purchase orders directly with manufacturers and vendors.
  • Implement legal processes and contract templates for Procurement efforts with applicable flow-down provisions from customer contracts where appropriate.
  • Provide legal support for international shipping, customs, and trade compliance activities and work with freight forwarders and customs brokers on import/export classifications and customs documents.
  • Collaborate on development of requests for proposals for subcontractors/vendors and risk registers for various categories of equipment and materials that will be incorporated into the work.
  • Conduct trainings on contract templates and applicable state and federal procurement laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide contract support and advise on contract issues as needed during project execution, including change orders.
  • Assist with claims, litigation, and regulatory investigations.
  • Travel to various company locations, project sites, legal proceedings, and contract negotiations as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
