Key Responsibilities:

Leading contested probate and trust litigation cases from start to finish
Drafting persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery
Representing clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
Advising executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and families during difficult transition
Developing litigation strategies that actually move cases forward
Working closely with a supportive legal team that values quality over chaos

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Texas.
Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team
3–7+ years of probate and/or trust litigation experience
Experience with uncontested Probate
Strong courtroom presence and confident client communication
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.
Proficiency in Wealthcounsel software
Preference given to Lawmatics users
Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management software.
Comfortable with the use of technology
Strong desire for personal and professional growth
Ability to mentor young professionals
