Job Summary:
Ohio Personal Injury Lawyers seeks a probate attorney to join our personal injury team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. You will manage probate matters related to personal injury cases, including estate administration, guardianship, and settlement approvals.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversee probate proceedings for clients involved in personal injury cases.
Advise clients and families on estate administration, guardianships, and settlement distributions.
Prepare and file probate documents, including petitions, inventories, and accountings.
Coordinate with personal injury attorneys to ensure timely resolution of probate matters.
Represent clients in probate court hearings and settlement approval proceedings.
Communication with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties regarding probate issues.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all probate cases.
Ensure compliance with state and federal probate laws and regulations.
Provide compassionate guidance to clients during emotionally challenging times.

Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:

In-depth knowledge of Ohio probate law and procedures.
Experience handling probate matters related to personal injury settlements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff in a fast-paced environment.
Must posses a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency with legal research and case management software.

Education and Experience:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active Ohio Bar license.
2+ years of probate law experience preferred; personal injury experience a plus.
