About the Team:
The Global Privacy & Regulatory Affairs team handles and oversees legal privacy and regulatory matters pertaining to A Video-Sharing Social Networking Service Company's global operations. The team works cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders in the US and around the world to tackle some of the most complex, interesting, and cutting edge issues in privacy and security. We are looking for highly motivated, experienced, and bright legal professionals to join our exciting team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategy for handling regulatory and privacy inquiries and investigations
  • Conduct research and prepare responses in connection with regulatory inquiries and investigations
  • Develop privacy and regulatory strategy in connection with privacy initiatives and product features
  • Collaborate with public policy, communications, and other teams to develop strategy regarding top of mind privacy issues
  • Develop and implement privacy policies and processes, including external and internal privacy policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional, cross-regional stakeholders on critical privacy and security projects
  • Provide strategic guidance and support on privacy litigation matters

Qualifications:
Requirements:
  • J.D. degree from ABA accredited law school (or foreign equivalent) with membership in good standing in a US state bar
  • 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm or in-house
  • 3+ years of privacy legal experience, including experience in handling privacy regulatory matters
  • High motivation, proactive work ethic, and ability to thrive in challenging, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience and proficiency with technology
