Our Phoenix office is seeking a motivated Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join our team.

What You'll Do:
As a Pre-Litigation Attorney, you will manage your own portfolio of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through settlement, with the support of case managers and legal staff.

Responsibilities include:

Manage a plaintiff-side personal injury caseload through all stages of pre-litigation.
Meet with prospective clients and evaluate potential cases for acceptance.
Develop case strategy based on liability, damages, insurance coverage, available evidence, and overall case value.
Identify opportunities to strengthen liability and damages evidence early in the case.
Review insurance policies and analyze coverage issues, including UM/UIM coverage and other available sources of recovery.
Monitor clients' medical treatment and evaluate whether cases are appropriately positioned for demand, negotiation, or litigation.
Identify deficiencies in medical records, billing, liability evidence, insurance information, or damages documentation and direct appropriate follow-up.
Evaluate liens, subrogation interests, and other issues affecting settlement and client recovery.
Draft, review, and approve persuasive demand packages.
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.
Counsel clients regarding settlement offers, case value, risks, and strategy.
Maintain regular and meaningful communication with clients throughout their cases.
Provide guidance and mentorship to case managers and support staff.
Collaborate with the litigation team when cases require filing or further legal action.
Monitor statutes of limitation and other critical deadlines.
Help ensure every case is developed proactively rather than simply processed.

What We're Looking For:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active law license and good standing in Texas, New Mexico, or Arizona.
Multi-state licensure is a plus.
1–5 years of plaintiff-side personal injury, insurance, or civil litigation experience preferred.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Excellent legal writing and communication abilities.
Confidence interacting directly with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other professionals.
Ability to independently evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and settlement value.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of case development.
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, case managers, and support staff.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, but not required.
