The Lewis Law Firm is seeking a strong, established, and client-focused attorney to join our team as a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation and Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace.

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Researches laws and prepares legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda.
Adheres to the Firm's Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.
Meet with potential clients while maintaining the highest level of compassion and empathy.
Review and monitor cases to ensure that the client(s) receive outstanding service.
Handle escalated calls that require attorney communication.
Negotiate claims with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.
Strategize ways to maximize value of cases for client(s).
Correspond with clients and opposing counsel.
Support attorneys and staff within the pre-litigation and litigation team.
Analyze and summarize legal documents.
Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents.
Such as drafting Motions, Pleadings, Discovery, etc...

Qualifications Include (but are not limited to):

1+ year(s) of personal injury experience
Admitted to South Carolina or North Carolina State Bar with an active license in “good standing.”
Dual South Carolina and North Carolina licensed preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of pre-litigation and litigation process.
Must possess analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, while adhering to strict deadlines.
Strong ethics and client care.
