We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our team. The firm is seeking a Personal Injury Experienced Pre-Litigation Attorney to oversee and manage a department with the assistance of a supporting staff. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a talented attorney with a passion for personal injury law, and a desire to provide exceptional legal service.As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload in pre-litigation. This includes handling all aspects of the case after sign-up through settlement, including negotiation with insurance adjusters, managing client treatment, settlement demands and preparing cases for litigation. This is the perfect role for an attorney who would like the flexibility of not having to handle a docket, but is otherwise involved in talking with clients and developing cases for litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload from start to finish in pre-litigation.
- Conduct client sign-ups, gather necessary documentation, and manage client treatment.
- Coordinate with Intake Team when needed.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and oversee settlement demands.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on case status.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Monitor, assign and enforce the main pre-litigation KPIs, including number of demands, complaints filed, cases per case manager, etc.
- Oversee and manage pre-litigation matters with the assistance of the assigned case manager from inception to closure.
- Assist and direct case managers with day-to-day management of medical treatment of pre-litigation and litigation matters.
- Assist and direct investigation on all pre-litigation and litigation matters.
- Maintain an “open door” policy for case managers to present questions on matters for attorney review and final approval.
- Assist case managers, as needed, in negotiating pre-litigation settlements.
- Evaluate potential and current matters for valuation purposes to aid in early resolution.
- Identify and retain medical experts and/or legal experts for each respective matter, as needed.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in PA, NJ a plus.
- Experience with Litify a plus.
