Description:
Porter Scott is seeking motivated law school graduates awaiting bar results to join our team as Post Bar Law Clerk. We are committed to developing exceptional litigators by providing meaningful mentorship, hands-on experience, and a collaborative environment where new attorneys are empowered to contribute from day one.

As a Post Bar Law Clerk, you won't spend your time observing from the sidelines. You'll work alongside experienced litigators on active cases, drafting motions, conducting legal research, participating in discovery, attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings, and gaining firsthand exposure to every stage of the litigation process. You'll make meaningful contributions while receiving practical guidance and regular feedback from attorneys who are invested in your success.

At Porter Scott, mentorship is more than a program—it's part of our culture. Our attorneys work closely together, encouraging questions, sharing knowledge, and helping one another grow. You'll have access to experienced mentors who are committed to helping you develop the skills and confidence needed to build a successful litigation career.

We're looking for graduates who are intellectually curious, eager to learn, and ready to take on real responsibility. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with a collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to become an outstanding advocate.

Porter Scott offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a Section 125 Flexible Spending Account; employer-paid long-term disability and life insurance; and a 401(k) retirement plan with generous employer contributions. After six months of employment, the firm contributes a percentage of your annual compensation to your 401(k), regardless of your own contributions, and also provides an annual employer match. Benefits become effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire. We also offer generous paid time off, recognizing that maintaining balance is an important part of building a long and rewarding career.

If you're looking for a place where you'll receive exceptional mentorship, collaborate with talented attorneys, and gain real courtroom and litigation experience from the start, we'd love to meet you.
