Job Summary:Established Northwest Indiana based plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks an experienced trial lawyer with a minimum of three (3) years of proven trial experience. Our firm is seeking a candidate astute in both pre-litigation and litigation of complex auto crashes, trucking crashes, and medical malpractice matters. The ideal candidate must be organized and willing to work on multiple cases of varying complexity along with the passion and desire to try cases to verdict.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys and support staff on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide status reports
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience
- J.D. from an accredited school
- Must be licensed to practice in Indiana (Illinois is a plus)
