About the Job:Plaintiff Personal Injury Trial Attorney
We are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join our firm.
Position Overview:
You will be a part of a fast-paced team environment and will have all the necessary tools and support to allow you to focus on the proper workup of your cases in preparation for settlement or trial. Overall organization and attention to detail are paramount to this position, along with the willingness and ability to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and/or in-person.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years personal injury litigation experience.
- In this role you will have the opportunity to perform the following responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
- Develop and deliver arguments and represent clients in personal injury matters.
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Downtown Hartford office.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar.
- One to three years experience in personal injury litigation.
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate both verbally and in writing.
