Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will handle a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, advocating fiercely for clients and ensuring their rights are protected throughout the litigation process. Your expertise will contribute to building strong cases, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court with confidence and professionalism. Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of personal injury cases from initial client consultation through trial and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Prepare for and participate in court depositions, trials, and hearings, presenting compelling legal advocacy on behalf of clients.
  • Engage in client communication to explain legal options, update on case progress, and gather necessary information.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism.
  • Collaborate with experts in fields such as medical, accident reconstruction, or insurance to strengthen cases.
  • Maintain organized case files using legal case management software and ensure compliance with procedural law requirements.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
  • Proven experience handling personal injury law cases with a strong understanding of personal injury litigation procedures.
  • Familiarity with general & commercial litigation practices and procedural law knowledge.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Excellent legal writing, drafting, and motion preparation skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective courtroom advocacy abilities.
  • Knowledge of related areas such as employment law case experience, estate planning, environmental law, family law, or tribal law is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards.
  • Exceptional client communication skills and a proactive approach to case management.
