This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator who wants immediate responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and the ability to make a significant impact while working with an experienced support team and established legal systems.
What you will be doing:
- Take ownership of an existing portfolio of personal injury litigation matters
- Manage cases from litigation through resolution, including trial preparation
- Develop case strategy involving liability, causation, and damages
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Prepare and argue motions
- Manage discovery, expert witnesses, and litigation deadlines
- Attend mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
- Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic guidance throughout their cases
- Collaborate with attorneys, legal support staff, and firm leadership
What we are looking for:
- Active California Bar license
- 5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures
- Proven ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
- Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills
- Strong client communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of cases
- Spanish fluency is a plus
