Slocumb Law Firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our team in Washington, DC.

We are looking for an attorney with a proven background in Personal Injury litigation, strong case management capabilities, and the ability to independently handle complex litigation matters.

Important: A Minimum of 2 Years of Personal Injury (pi) Litigation Experience and Active Bar Admissions in Both Washington, Dc and Maryland Are Required and Non-Negotiable.

What You'll Do:

Manage Personal Injury Cases from Intake Through Resolution, up To and Including Trial.
Handle Discovery, Depositions, Motions, Hearings, Mediations, Negotiations, and Trial Preparation.
Develop and Execute Effective Litigation Strategies.
Maintain Clear, Professional, and Consistent Communication with Clients.
Independently Manage a Full Inventory of Pre-Litigation and Litigation Cases.
Collaborate with Case Managers, Legal Assistants, and Firm Leadership.
Ensure Compliance with Established Litigation Standards, Deadlines, and Procedures.
Build and Maintain Professional Relationships with Opposing Counsel and Other Stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

Juris Doctor (jd) from An Accredited Law School.
Active Washington, Dc Bar Admission and Good Standing — Required and Non-Negotiable.
Active Maryland Bar Admission and Good Standing — Required and Non-Negotiable.
Active Virginia Bar Admission — Strongly Preferred, but Not Required.
Minimum 2 Years of Hands-On Personal Injury (pi) Litigation Experience — Required and Non-Negotiable.
Proven Experience Handling Personal Injury Cases, Including Litigation Strategy, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, and Settlement Negotiations.
Ability to Independently Manage a Full Inventory of Both Pre-Litigation and Litigation Cases.
Strong Advocacy, Legal Writing, Negotiation, and Analytical Skills.
Excellent Client Communication and Case Management Abilities.
Results-Driven Mindset and Strong Professional Judgment.
Ability to Thrive in A Fast-Paced, High-Volume Litigation Environment.

You Are Not Actively Licensed and In Good Standing in Both Washington, Dc and Maryland.
Your Legal Experience Is Exclusively in Practice Areas Unrelated to Personal Injury.
