Position Overview:We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team at A Personal Injury Attorney In this role, you will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury cases, managing all aspects of litigation from initial case evaluation through trial. Your expertise will be crucial in helping our clients navigate the legal system and achieve favorable outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations with opposing counsel.
- Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions and trial.
- Manage case files and maintain communication with clients throughout the litigation process.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop effective case strategies.
- Provides legal counsel to and representation of clients in litigated matters.
- Performs routine legal work using established procedures, including preparing pleadings, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, defense exams, and any other court related matters.
- Offers direction and communication to client on behalf of law firm throughout the litigation process.
- Communicates views effectively orally and in writing and represents position to others.
- Provides assistance to other attorneys on major projects and assignments
- Works with managerial guidance and oversight.
- Growing firm business.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Proven experience in litigation, particularly in Personal Injury law
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- 5 to 10 years of experience preferred
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent oral advocacy skills and courtroom presence
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively under tight deadlines
- Spanish Speaking a HUGE Plus
